General Operations Fund- This fund provides for the daily care and essential needs of the residents at El Beun Samaritano, a seniors home in Baja, Mexico. Support helps cover food, shelter, medications, staffing, and utilities for the elderly residents who have nowhere else to go.
Missions & Projects Fund- This fund supports short-term mission trips, visiting teams, and special projects at El Buen Samaritano. Donations help cover travel costs, building materials, outreach activities, and other practical expenses when groups serve on-site. Every gift helps extend hands-on care and encouragement to the home and its residents.
El Buen Samaritano is a Christian senios home located in Baja, Mexico, serving some of the most vulnerable elderly individuals in the region- many of whom have been abandoned, are without family support, or are unable to access basic care. Our goal is to provide safe, stable, and dignified long-term care in a loving, community-centred environment.
We currently house 25 residents in a 24-bed facility, offering comprehensive daily support that includes nutritious meals, housing, hygiene and mobility assistance, and routine medical attention. Many of our residents arrive with significant physical or cognitive limitations and no financial means to support their own care.
This program exists to meet both the practical and rational needs of those in their final stages of life, providing not only physical comfort and safely but also emotional conection, dignity, and a sense of belonging.
By offeringconsistant staffing, specialized care, and community engagement, we help allivieate poverty-related consequences such as neglect, malnutrition, isolation, and medicasl vunerability- all while empowering local caregivers and proffessionals to serve their community throughmeaningful employment.
El Buen Samaritano is a 24-bed senior home providing full-time care for 25 elderly residents in Baja, Mexico. The home operates with a team of 14 local staff members who provide daily living support and coordinate with visiting professionals and volunteer groups.
Services provided:
-Full housing and nutrition (3 meals/day+snacks)
-Personal care: bathing, bathroom assistance, shaving, nail care, dressing.
-Daily cleaning and laundry services
On-site medical support (visiting physicians, dentists, psychologists, etc.)
-Physical and occupational therapy
-Haircuts and grooming (by visiting hairdressers and volunteers)
-Emotional and spiritual support, including prayer and worship opportunities
-Regular visits and programming from churches, musicians, and volunteer groups

Community Involvement:

Humanitarian & Poverty Alleviation Focus:
The majority of residents at El Buen Samaritano lived in extreme poverty and were unable to pay for their own care. Without this home, many would face homelessness, hunger, and untreated health conditions. This program offers a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where physical, emotional, and social needs are met with dignity.
